Ericsson new computer concept design for the year 2020, have been demonstrating at the Taiwan Broadband show and it’s kind of, well, different. Looks more like a spider on legs than anything you could call a computer. It’s being called The Ericsson Spider PC concep.

The computer would have all the features of a modern day laptop including Wi-Fi. However, it looks nothing like anything you’ve seen before. It’s use of a pico-projected screen and a laser projected keyboard. So what we’d basically have is a virtual screen projected onto a wall and virtual keyboard projected on to a desk or table or any other hard surface.

What Ericsson was demonstrating was a sort of working prototype but only to give you the general idea, the components required to fit into a fully functional working device are too big at the moment. It’s quite possible that the design will be obsolete before it even gets started.

The mSATA drive, however, still uses the serial ATA (SATA) protocol, which would allow data and applications to be moved seamlessly between a hard disk drive and the smaller SSD.

The GPU is the most determinant feature of every external graphics card   when it comes to the overall performance and speed. The two biggest manufacturers of GPUs are NVIDIA and ATI (which is owned by CPU manufacturer AMD). They do the reference designs for each new generation of external graphics card  . But most external graphics card  s are sold by other manufacturers who produce their own flavour of the reference cards from NVIDIA and ATI. Examples of those manufacturers are MSI, Asus, ECS Elitegroup, XFX and more.
